Botox anti-wrinkle treatments are a non-invasive procedure which requires no recovery time and no surgery needed! While there's no downtime, you might spot a tad bit of bruising or mild swelling around the injected spot (thanks, needle). The magic happens within 2 to 14 days post-treatment when you'll see those results kick in!
After injecting Botox, it can take anywhere from two to eight days to start working. We will assess the patient at two or three weeks to check the results. At eight weeks, the movement will start coming back, and at 12 weeks, the movement should be about 50 percent back to normal. At 16 weeks, the movement will be about 80 percent. It is good to re-treat sometime between three and four months.
